The story of Just Another Day is simple. Goagleon, a black cat Furre, finds an enourmous void in her closet. In this Void, she meets a giant Jellyfish, Jeanie, who tells her that with this void, she can make whole worlds to explore and live in. No time passes whenever Goagleon enters a void, so she gleefully makes use of it, and begins creating places to have her adventures in. Getting the Friend-Units Intro Goagleon's room was a wild mess of clothes, papers, boxes and junk. It was piled so high, she litterally could not see her own floor. She was in the middle of attempting to clean it up. She stood next to her closet and streched the pain out of her back. She had been working for a good hour, and needed a break. She rested her hand on the inside of her closet, and wiped the sweat from her brow. "I hate cleaning my room. I wish there was somewhere else I could go." No sooner had she entered those words, did she seem to slip, but before she knew it, she was falling through the closet wall. "Urk!" She hit the ground hard, landing hard on her butt, bruising her tail. She sat with her eyes closed for a moment, taking a deep breath. She hated landing on her tail! When she looked up, for a moment, she thought she had gone blind. But as she waved her hand infront of her eyes, she discovered she could still see. She could see herself fine, but everything around her was pitch black. The darkness around her was creepy. It was as dark as dark can be, but yet, there seemed to be a dull light filling the area, enough so she could see herself clearly. She didn't know which was worse - being unable to find the light source, or the fact that the blackness seemed to go on forever. It was like the sky at night, only starless. She shuddered a bit, taking a deep breath, trying to calm herself. Where on earth am I? All at once, Goagleon was engulfed in a brilliant light. She gasped and shielded her eyes, shutting them tight against the glare. "The portal to your imagination, child." The voice echoed around her, coming from the new light source that was currently blinding her."My.. Ow.. What?" The statement, crypic as it was, startled Goags enough that she squinted her eyes open the tiniest crack. "Your imagination. Here, the possibilities are endless." Endless? imagination? One little part of Goagleon flared up. Goags was nortorius for her daydreaming. She loved to place herself in other dimensions, and play out little adventures and fantasies. to her mind, it was what kept her sane. Being able to escape to some part of her mind was her saviour. Of course, there was another part of her that hated it, because it only made her more depressed about how pathetically mundane the real world was. Plus, in her dreams, she was always the heroine. Brave, smart, fearless... but was she really like that? Could she really say, kill someone if she had to? In a life an death situation, could she protect herself? "My imagination? you mean?" "Yessss," the voice... hissed? "Anything you can think of, Anything you want. The limit is only your own mind." That little part of her began to dance with intense joy. The other part, on the other hand, was catious. She was not one to trust talking balls of light. Not that she had ever met one, but the point was still there. Her heart beating frantically with suspicion, hope, and yes, a little bit of fear, she forced her growing joy down. "What... What are you?" she stammered, steadying her shaky voice. The light was so bright, but as she asked the question, it seemed to dim slightly. The light began to materialize, turning a pink-ish colour as it did so. Then suddenly, the light was gone and floating infront of her was a - "A jellyfish?" The little happy part of Goagleon fled immediatly in terror. "A... pink... jellyfish?" She shuddered. "This must be a nightmare." Of all the animals in the world, Goagleon only feared two. All others, dangerous as they could be, she never feared, just respected a great deal. She couldn't stand wasps for some reason. Sure, she'd been stung a few times, but she'd never been traumatized by them before as far as she could remember, but seeing one, got her heart pounding. She was usually pretty rational, but her biggest scare hit her once while she was driving on the highway. That scared the crap outta her. She loved bees. She thought bumblebees were the cutest insect in the world. She could never figure that one out. The other animal she was afraid of, was here, now looking her - as it were - right in the eyes. Jellyfish. She'd never been stung, and fortunatly, all the jellyfish in her area where non-lethal, but she still couldn't stand them. Despite her brave, calm words, Goagleon could feel the fur on her back and tail begin to rise. The jellyfish seemed to ponder a moment, pulsing as if it where swimming underwater. It had a dark red band around the middle that moved in a stange way, distracting Goagleon enough to realize that this jellyfish didn't look like any she recongized. "Don't like Jellyfish?" said the jellyfish finnally, seeming to sense her growning agitation. "-" Before Goags could reply, the jellyfish started to glow a pinkish mist, and in a flash of pink powder, the jellyfish dissapeared, and on the ground two feet infront of her, a cat appeared. It had the same pink of the jellyfish, and the single red band was now a series of them, around the neck, upper front legs, back paws, tail, and a circle around her upper legs. Disconcerningly, her eyes where an opaque white. "This better?" She said, gazing up at the therian. The pink powder seemed to begin to dissapear in the air as she spoke. "A cat?" Goagleon replied, staring down and the feline, "You're still pink." Pink was another thing Goags hated. It was so... girly. Definatly not her cup of tea. "Can't be helped." the cat said cheerfully. Almost as if she wanted to be pink, and didn't care whether of not Goagleon approved. Understandably. "Damn."
